Brought to you by the most "transparent" Administration in American history.

Interesting turn of events, eh? It may have rendered the ACA invalid, as some have concluded. Still trying to figure a rational explanation for Roberts's decision. But, I'm still trying to do the same for other justices (like Scalia) in Raich and the usual suspects in the New London case, so SCOTUS remains the enigma...

I do not know what Roberts was thinking. If he was being political and trying to get it thrown out by calling it a tax then I am disappointed in him. Since it is consedered a tax and taxation must come from the House therefore it is unconstitutional, It shouldhave been ruled ...well ...unconstitutional and not suddenly OK just because it is a tax.
The commerce clause that liberals so love is so abused as to be crimainal. This should have been ruled at fault instead of shoehorning the penalties into a tax definition.

By the way whats with all this enigma talk? Isn't that where they flush your system with oil and water?

I was just reading your appropenquabit enim judicium dei post (56) on your testimonium page when ...I became offended ... then I rereadx5 and became thoughtful. Normally I do not concentrate much on The end times since I figure God pretty much will accomplish his will whether or not I understand it. But this certainly has made me think.

SGTUSMC1ea,
Ha, Ha! Loved the "oil and water" system flushing allusion.

I'm with you. I have no idea what Roberts was thinking. Either he's gone mad, has turned liberal, or was transported into another dimension (ie, the Twilight Zone). While it seems he blasted the mandate, he gave MORE power to the Federal government than perhaps any SCOTUS since FDR's days.s

Glad you read (and then "reread") the Testimonium article. I'm not sure why you became "offended", but that's OK... I've been known to do that to people. As the banner says at the top of the page, I'm only sharing: "Thoughts about that which I believe to be the Truth." If it made you think, then Praise God! Allow His Holy Spirit to guide you, even if it is in a different direction from the one I was going in. We must "test and prove ALL things."

God Bless you my friend...
