It may be splitting hairs but, the "government" is not the problem, rather the corrupt people now running it, (AND the ones that WE have allowed to, for some time now)!

"We the People" have to share in the responsibility also for DECADES of crying wolf, when we told them we would "remember in November", then turned that statement into a LIE!!!!

It may now take some time, (a few election cycles), before they actually believe us?

The "Framers" were actually a GOOD government.

PS: Need I say, "Click my name"? ;-)

RAM,
I don't know. Our government is definitely WAY TOO BIG. It is into areas of our life that it doesn't belong. It's just a big money sucking machine with the vacuum hose in your pocket and mine. And it's like an octopus that grows more tentacles (not testicles) every day, looking for new pockets to suck money out of. We could probably eliminate 50% of the government bureaucracy and 50% of the government regulations, and the country wouldn't skip a beat. In fact, might do a heck of a lot better.

Best regards...

P.S.-- thanks for the link. (:D)

I agree with you. What I said was "government" is not the problem, just our CURRENT government, and that of the last 100 years or so IS the problem, (and the fact that, "We the People" have let them become the monster that we see now!

The "government" of George Washington was pretty good.

Do NOT expect ANY President of the last two hundred years or so to turn down being appointed KING!

Maybe no one other than he???

You will like the link at my name.
